A 38-year-old man is now facing 22 charges including assault, sexual assault and firearms offences in connection with an investigation at a home on Clarendon Drive in Moncton.
RCMP searched the home on July 16 after responding to an assault complaint two days earlier.
Officers seized several firearms along with other items and a man was arrested.
Marc Everett Lebouthillier was originally charged with 18 offences but four additional counts of uttering threats were laid in provincial court on July 22.
He remains in custody and is scheduled to return to court August 7.
