The snow has come earlier than expected this fall and the tri-communities are urging drivers to start thinking about winter parking restrictions.
Starting December 1, parking on the street between midnight and 7am is not permitted in Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe.
The same applies at any time of day when snow clearing operations are underway.
Drivers could be ticketed or towed.
But when conditions warrant, overnight parking will be allowed in downtown Moncton.
Otherwise, winter parking restrictions will remain in place until March 31 in Riverview and Dieppe and April 15 in Moncton.
