New Brunswick’s unemployment rate fell slightly in October to 8.1 percent.
Statistics Canada says the number of full-time jobs grew in the province as part-time employment dropped.
The number of residents looking for jobs also declined.
In the province’s two largest cities, Moncton saw its jobless rate climb to 5.8 percent while it dropped slightly in Saint John to 7.7 percent.
The national unemployment rate remained steady at 5.5 percent last month.
