The Code Mobile has been travelling around New Brunswick making stops at schools and camps to help children learn more about coding.
The computer lab on wheels, partly funded by the non-profit Canada Learning Code, has also been training teachers this summer.
Adults are now being encouraged to get involved and learn to code.
Code Mobile spokesperson Marcy Walton says coding is becoming more important in our everyday lives.
“When you’re learning to code, you are communicating with the computer in order have it do what you would like it to do. There are several languages in the coding field. We teach the fundamentals, so the introductory pieces,” she notes.
If any adults or adult groups want a visit from the Code Mobile, Walton says a visit can be arranged through their website, codemobile.ca
