The water at Irishtown Nature Park is now off limits, due to the presence of blue-green algae.
The City of Moncton says the algae isn’t visible yet, but there is a high concentration in the water.
Kayaking, canoeing and other recreational activities are not permitted.
Pet owners are also asked to keep their dogs away from the water.
