Moncton Fire was busy this morning battling a blaze at a renovated home on Robinson Street, that contained six apartments.
The fire was reported at around 7:20am Wednesday morning.
Acting Platoon Chief Captain Brian McDonald says four of the apartments were occupied at the time, but everyone managed to get out safely.
Firefighters extinguished the flames quickly, and were on the scene for around an hour.
Mcdonald says it’s believed the fire started in a kitchen in one of the units.
There is extensive fire, smoke and water damage to the building.
