The President of Whitecap Entertainment says ticket sales for the August 10th concert on Magnetic Hill are going well.
Jeff Squires is confident Luke Bryan and friends will attract large crowds for next month’s show on the Hill.
He says after the performer sold out at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in 2018, he heard from fans that they missed out on the show. Squires says there was an opportunity for a show on the Hill.
He says there’s room for tens of thousands of fans, “It’s a large site, so in the 20, 000 range will be no issue.”
He wouldn’t confirm to us though exactly how many tickets have been sold.
Whitecap Entertainment is also offering camping on-site at the Hill. Squires says there were around 200 spots available, “The camping model is there’s space and they wanted to try it to see what it would add to the experience. Those spots are sold out.”
As to whether we may see the Promoter negotiate another show on the Hill, Squires says if the opportunity is there, and it is the right act, and the right time. We’re always looking for opportunities, so yes.”
