In less than two weeks, the Magnetic Hill Concert site will be jumping with Luke Bryan fans.
Site preparations are already underway.
The Magnetic Hill concert site has been quiet since 2015, but City of Moncton Spokesperson Andre Cormier says it has always been maintained, even without a concert on the Hill.
He says there is some basic work being done right now, “Probably closer to the concert date that you will see a bit more of the ground work being done for the show build. As of right now, there is prep work being done as we speak, but if you drove by the site, it wouldn’t seem like there is a lot going on. The stage build-up is expected to begin sometime next week.”
Transportation plans, along with a list of other rules and regulations for concert day aren’t ready just yet, but Cormier expects they will be similar to concerts in years past.
Luke Bryan, along with a few other acts will perform on Magnetic Hill on August 10th.
Whitecap Entertainment will be offering camping on site. This is the first time it has been offered since 1998.
The last concert on Magnetic Hill, was AC/DC in 2015.
