A new eight-storey building in downtown Moncton is almost complete and residents of the condos have already started moving in to their new homes.
Located at 55 Queen Street, the so-called FiveFive features 41 condos for sale and 14 for rent and only a handful remain available.
Among the first residents were John Boudreau and Carol Estey who say they had front row seats on their balcony for the Canada Day fireworks.
“From the beginning, our vision was for FiveFive to be a standout development for Greater Moncton. It is a place our condo owners are proud to call home and also a great addition to our city,” said Bill Hennessey, President FiveFive Queen Developments Inc.
A Gahan House Brew Pub and an NB Liquor wine store recently opened on the ground floor.
A boutique hotel will also be opening in the building with more details expected in the coming weeks.
Construction of the $20 million architecturally distinct building began in the summer of 2016.
