Codiac RCMP are now investigating an incident which occurred at Moncton Headstart last month.
Few details about the incident have been released but it did lead to the firing of three teachers and an aide.
Corporal Jullie Rogers-Marsh confirms the Mounties received a complaint from the Department of Social Development on June 3rd.
The department had been looking into the incident on May 22nd in one of Moncton Headstart’s classrooms.
Corporal Rogers-Marsh says evidence will be gathered to determine whether or not charges will be laid.
Shortly after the incident, Headstart did notify parents but they also received little information about what happened.
