Moncton Headstart has updated parents with a timeline about an incident which took place May 22nd in one of its classrooms.
Three teachers and an aide were fired following the incident which is now being investigated by the Department of Social Development.
In a letter from executive director Mary O’Donnell, Headstart has stated it is still not in a position to share any specific details.
O’Donnell noted that a training session was held last week with staff from the Children’s Program and the Parent’s Program with refresher training on child guidance.
The statement goes on to say that strong steps have been taken to avoid such an incident from happening again.
