The Green Party in PEI has made history.
They’ve won the most seats ever for that party in Canada, and will sit as the official opposition.

The Progressive Conservatives were voted in with a minority government, winning 12 seats.
The Greens took 8 and the Liberals 6.
Former Liberal Premier Wade MacLauchlan lost his seat in Stanhope-Marshfield.
PC Leader Dennis King will become the next Premier in the province.
