A 54-year-old Elgin man is facing several child pornography offences following an RCMP investigation into images of child sexual abuse.
On November 20, 2018, Mounties carried out a search warrant at an Elgin home after receiving information through the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre.
Police seized electronic devices and a man was arrested.
Gregory George Shaffer was charged this week with possession, accessing and making child pornography available and impersonation.
Shaffer has been released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Moncton provincial court on April 18th.
