Foul play is suspected in the deaths of three Great Danes and two cats in Memramcook.
The New Brunswick SPCA says necropsies were conducted on the animals to determine the cause of death.
The SPCA and the RCMP are investigating after the dogs were found wrapped in tarps and the cats were in garbage bags.
The animals were spotted on the side of Renaissance Extension Road in Memramcook on Monday.
Some leads have have been received and the SPCA are urging anyone with more information to contact their hotline at 1-877-722-1522.
