Inclusion Advocacy of Southeast New Brunswick which supports those with intellectual or developmental disabilities is struggling to stay afloat.
That’s why this weekend’s annual fundraising event called “Move 2 Include” is so important for the non-profit organization.
Executive director Connie Melanson-Savoy says their fundraising events are a call to action.
“It’s about people being conscious of the potential for the individuals that we do serve. When they are supported they certainly are able to be productive members of our community.”
The annual “Move 2 Include” is a 5K or 10K walk/run event which is hosted by Mount Zion Church on Charles Lutes Road.
Registration begins Saturday (March 23) at 9:30am and the run starts at 10:30am.
