Codiac RCMP are releasing the name of a homicide victim in hopes of getting more information about the death.
The man has been identified as 45-year-old Karl Cadden Wearden.
Around 1:15 am Monday (March 18), police were called to Echo Drive in Moncton where an injured man was lying on the street.
He died at the scene.
Witnesses have reported seeing Karl Wearden standing beside a bicycle on Echo Drive.
An altercation took place between Wearden and another man who eventually ran away heading in a westerly direction.
