The man who became a hero during an attack on Parliament Hill in 2014 is prepared to talk about his future.
On Twitter today, Kevin Vickers says he will be in his hometown of Miramichi on Friday at noon to make an announcement regarding the leadership of the New Brunswick Liberal Party.

Rumours have been swirling that Vickers may take a run for the job ever since Brian Gallant quit as Liberal Party leader earlier this year.
The former Sergeant-at-Arms in the House of Commons has been Canada’s ambassador to Ireland since 2015 but he recently retired from that post.
