A 28-year-old Moncton man has been sentenced to two years and three months in prison following a seizure of drugs and firearms last fall.
Logan Furlong has pleaded guilty to numerous charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and marijuana and unauthorized possession and unsafe storage of a firearm.
Codiac RCMP carried out a search warrant at a Galbraith Crescent home in Moncton on September 7, 2018 where officers seized six firearms, contraband cigarettes, a portable hash oil extractor and a quantity of cocaine and marijuana.
In addition to his time in prison, Logan Furlong will have to forfeit all items that were seized and provide a DNA sample.
He is also prohibited from owning any firearms, ammunition or explosives for a period of 10 years.
Meantime, 34-year-old Martine Vautour also faces 13 charges in connection with the seizure.
She is scheduled to return to court to enter a plea on March 21st.
