Many New Brunswickers are likely growing winter weary by now since the season essentially began back in November.
The Weather Network has released its spring forecast for the months of March, April and May.
Meteorologist Michael Carter says the end of winter may soon be near.
Carter believes we are in for another round of cold weather in early March.
But he says a warming pattern appears to be developing later in March with some consistent spring-like weather likely.
Both temperatures and precipitation are expected to be near normal for the season.
Carter adds flooding is a possibility given normal spring run-off combined with any rain or snow that falls.
But he believes it won’t be as stormy this spring compared to past years.
