A fatal head on crash near the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick border, closed the eastbound lanes of Trans Canada Highway for most of the night.
Nova Scotia RCMP say a vehicle collided head on with a transport truck on Highway 104 near exit 2.
Due to a collision, Highway 02 Eastbound near Aulac is currently closed. Traffic is being diverted.

A 61 year old man was found dead in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
Callers to our newsroom say the highway was closed from Aulac, NB to Amherst, NS There were detours around the crash site, but many trucks were forced to stop at the Aulac Big Stop as they waited for the highway to reopen.
RCMP In New Brunswick tweeted at around 4am Friday morning that the highway had reopened.
Route 2 eastbound near Aulac is now open.
