A heads up to New Brunswick hunters: you can now check to see if you were one of the few to snag a moose license in New Brunswick.
The results of the moose draw are now available.
More than 61,000 applications were submitted for a license for the hunt and just over 4600 are being given out. You can call 1-800-459-3729 or check online at the Department of Energy and Resource Development’s website to see if you were successful. You’ll need your Outdoors Card number when doing so.
The hunt goes from September 20 to September 24. You can buy licenses starting August 15.
