The Los Angeles Dodgers are the 2024 World Series champions.
They beat the New York Yankees 7-6 in Game 5 in the Bronx.
It wasn’t looking good for the Dodgers, down 5-0 in the 5th inning of Wednesday night’s game.
A series of errors by the Yankees led to L.A. tying the game.
Down a run again in the 8th, the Dodgers hit two sacrifice flies to take the lead.
Canadian Freddie Freeman was named World Series MVP, he had four homeruns in the series, including a walk-off grand slam in Game 1.
It’s the Dodgers first title since 2020.
