A Town Hall session will be held in Riverview this month to help address public safety concerns.
It’ll be held with Codiac RCMP on October 17 in council chambers.
During a council meeting last month, Mayor Andrew Leblanc expressed his concerns about the amount of crime.
“It’s frustrating to have this kind of stuff happening, to see an increase in it. Residents are frustrated.”

The public is invited to the session at 6:30 pm. Residents can also watch the live stream via the Town of Riverview website.
“We’re eager for October 17. We’ll be there to answer any questions and be as candid as we can,” RCMP Inspector Matthew White adds.
During the session, the RCMP will respond to concerns and provide more information on how police, the municipality, and residents can proactively work together to address public safety in the community.
