After several weeks of decreases, the cost of gas is up again. It wasn’t a major jump.
The Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustments overnight.
The maximum cost for regular self-serve is up 2.2 cents a litre to around $1.54.
Diesel and furnace oil prices are also up, but just barely with increases of 0.3 cents a litre.
Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.54 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.61 per litre for diesel and $1.32 per litre for home heating oil.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.52 to $1.56 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.57 and $1.62 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.59 per litre, diesel costs around $1.65 per litre and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.11 per litre.
