If your fuel tank is getting low, you may want to fill up this evening.
Prices in New Brunswick are expected to jump overnight due to the new federal clean fuel regulations taking effect.
The added cost was intended for suppliers to reduce their pollution but the province brought forward legislation to pass the cost onto consumers instead.
An industry source tells our newsroom that gasoline could rise nearly 9 cents per litre.
Diesel is also expected to increase by about 9 cents per litre.
The Energy and Utilities Board will adjust prices at midnight.

- Regular self-serve 165.2
- Ultra-low sulphur diesel self-serve 164.1
- Heating oil 161.1
