The price of gas and diesel are each expected to drop in New Brunswick on Friday – the day before a carbon tax increase at the pumps on Saturday.
An industry source tells our newsroom that gasoline is expected to fall by at least 4.0 cents per litre.
Diesel could dip by as much as 4.5 cents per litre.
The Energy and Utilities Board will adjust prices at midnight.
Current maximum prices (as per EUB):
- Regular self-serve 165.8
- Ultra-low sulphur diesel self-serve 164.0
- Heating oil 145.6
