Winter is not going to loosen its grip anytime soon according to the spring forecast for New Brunswick.
The Weather Network has released its predictions for March, April and May.
TWN meteorologist Michael Carter said the storm track through the region could be busy to start off the season.
“Perhaps the most impactful storms we’re going to see this year will arguably be coming late in the season in March and maybe even continuing into early April.”
Carter believes precipitation will be above normal for spring especially during March and April.
He anticipates warmer weather will come later in the season.
“We will turn the corner by the time we get into late April and May which actually might make the overall season balance out to above normal in terms of temperatures,” Carter added.
