A major winter storm has moved into the region with snowfall warnings in place for central and southern New Brunswick.
The Weather Network meteorologist Michael Carter said this will be an all-snow event.
“We’re looking at a widespread 15 to 25 centimetres across southern New Brunswick and even more for Nova Scotia.”
Carter said this is a rather significant system given the rather lacklustre winter we’ve had.
“The cold air will be locked in place as the snow moves through this evening and it will become heavier during the overnight hours.”
Carter said the snow should be relatively easy to clear since the cold will make it much lighter.
