Two men have been charged following an armed robbery in Moncton on Tuesday night.
Around 7 p.m., Codiac RCMP say a man with a firearm entered a convenience store on Mill Road and demanded money from an employee.
The suspect left with some cash and fled the scene in a vehicle before officers arrived.
No one was hurt.
Police later arrested three men at a nearby home although one has since been released.
Edmond Joseph Babineau, 61, of Moncton and Terry Edmond Babineau, 41, of Dieppe are in custody until a bail hearing on January 4.
Mounties are investigating whether those arrested are connected to other recent robberies in the area.
