New Brunswickers can now view the provincial art collection on their computer or smartphone.
The province has launched collectionArtNB, a website showcasing the collection of works.
“The website provides our artists with more visibility, not just on a provincial scale, but globally, while maintaining professional exhibition standards,” Scott-Wallace said in a news release.
CollectionArtNB includes 960 pieces from 124 artists that have been acquired over more than 50 years.
The website also features biographies of the artists and will be updated as new works are acquired.
The collection was created in 1968 as one of the first art banks in Canada.
