Two people from Moncton have been charged in a pair of drug trafficking investigations in the city.
Mounties said officers searched a home on Edgett Avenue on Nov. 15, 2023.
They allegedly seized firearms, crystal meth, fentanyl, cocaine, and amphetamine pills.
A man and a woman were arrested in connection with the investigation, according to police.
The man was charged with firearms-related offences and possession for the purpose of trafficking, while the woman was charged with firearms-related offences. Both were later released from custody.
Officers began a separate investigation in February and searched a home on Argyle Street on April 10.
There they allegedly seized a firearm and suspected crystal meth, fentanyl, cocaine, and hydromorphone pills.
The same man and woman were arrested at the scene and later charged with drug trafficking and firearms related.
The 47-year-old man and 41-year-old woman have been remanded into custody pending future court dates.
