The Light Up Riverview display has gone dark for another year.
The popular lights display that attracts thousands to the Town’s Riverfront was officially turned off on Sunday, January 7th.
Mayor Andrew Leblanc says the annual tradition was a great success, “It went very well this year other than the few hiccups with some weather.”
Over 40, 000 lights brighten the Petitcodiac River for around six weeks for family and friends on the Riverfront Trail.
Leblanc thanked the team who helped organize the Light Up Riverview display again this season, and the sponsors for 2023.
“We look forward to next year,” Leblanc adds.
The lights will be re-lit at the end of November for the next holiday season.
