An industry expert believes gas prices will likely drop in New Brunswick this week.
Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, thinks gasoline will fall by as much as 3 cents per litre.
However, there is some uncertainty around the price of diesel and furnace oil due to recent market volatility.
The Energy and Utilities Board will adjust prices at midnight.
Current maximum prices in New Brunswick:
- Regular self-serve, 169.1
- Ultra-low sulphur diesel self-serve, 242.7
- Heating oil, 220.7
