The Ukrainian Club of Moncton is holding a fundraiser on Sunday (March 13) to support families in Ukraine who have been suffering amid the Russian invasion. .
Spokesperson Natalya Kutsurenko says the event will feature authentic items to buy, professional services to use and the best Ukrainian pastry to sample.
“We are having a huge fundraising event with local Ukrainian businesses and some Canadian businesses are joining. We’ll be selling goods and all money raised will go toward families in need.”
The fundraiser will be held on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Moncton North End YMCA which is located at 70 Twin Oaks Drive.
