An individual was sent partially through a windshield in a two-vehicle collision that closed Highway 15, near the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport, for about seven hours on Saturday night.
The Codiac Regional RCMP received a call at 8:14 p.m. on Saturday about the incident that occurred westbound.
Codiac Regional RCMP Staff Sergeant Trish Levesque said the collision involves four individuals, a 70-year-old male, a 15-year-old male, a 17-year-old female and an 18-year-old female.
“One of the individuals was partially ejected through the windshield,” said Staff Sergeant Levesque, adding that all four individuals were transported to the hospital but there’s no word on their conditions.
A section of highway 15 remained closed after the incident to allow a collision analyst to examine the scene.
Staff Sergeant Levesque said the incident remains under investigation, and no charges have been laid at this time.
