The Harvest Festival in Fredericton announced the lineup for its 30th anniversary running from September 14 to 19.
The headliners include Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, The Revivalists, John Hiatt and the Jerry Douglas Band, and Grace Potter.

David Shaw of the Revivalists will also perform material from his solo album.

“We’re back! And we’re going to be presenting an absolutely incredible array of the best talent we could bring to Fredericton during this crazy summer of re-opening” said Brent Staeben, Harvest Music Programmer in a release.
“We wanted this year’s event to feel familiar while also being a joyful re-emergence into big live concerts, so we’re welcoming back many old friends who know how to deliver exceptional performances and raise our audiences higher – because that’s the goal with this year’s event – to give everyone a huge lift after such a hard time apart.”

A release from the Harvest Festival, formerly known as the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival, says that they expect all attendees to be fully vaccinated before attending and may update their policy based on Public Health Guidelines. A survey conducted by the festival in May indicated there was a strong desire for audiences to return to the festival.
“The Festival will work with the province and the city throughout the summer to ensure we offer a safe experience this September,” said Jeff Richardson, Harvest General Manager. “We’ve been monitoring best practices across North America, and will be adjusting patron requirements as the province’s emergency order changes.”
The festival will once again take over Fredericton’s downtown with performances at a Blues Tent behind City Hall, shows at the Playhouse, and other venues along with free programming in Officer’s Square. There will also be free performances put together by festival partners The Hilton as part of the festival’s Pubs & Clubs series.
Tickets will go on sale on July 16 at 11 am through TicketPro. The festival’s full schedule is available on Harvest’s website.
