After a year of cancellations, postponements and virtual events, Moncton will see some normalcy this Summer.
The ‘Summer in the City’ program will provide the events and hospitality sector with a much-needed boost after a year of losses.
Despite loosened health restrictions and the province’s reopening the calendar won’t be packed with events compared to previous years.
Moncton director of events and tourism Jillian Somers is happy but applauds the work done over the past 15 months.
“During 2020 and early 2021, our community event organizers thought of creative, innovative event solutions for us to still enjoy events that we love,”
This Summer, residents will see a return of some community favourites, as well as some new additions
