If you’re suffering from a runny nose or congestion, sneezing, coughing and watery eyes, chances are you may have allergies.
Unfortunately, pollen counts are forecast to be high to very high this week in Southern New Brunswick.
Moncton pharmacist Cindy Gillam says allergy sufferers do have some options available to them.
“Pharmacists would be able to look at your profile, look at your history and any medications that you are on to help you choose medications. But there are also things like making sure your house is clean, covering up if you’re going outside especially your nose and mouth to avoid those allergens getting in.”
A lot of allergy symptoms are similar to those of COVID-19.
As a result, Gillam adds seasonal allergy sufferers are undoubtedly turning some heads and getting the stink eye these days if they have an attack in public.
