A new residential-commercial complex being proposed for downtown Moncton could transform the city skyline.
Sackville-based Lafford Properties wants to build three buildings with 15 storeys each on Record Street.
On the site of the former Co-Op building, the plans call for a trio of mixed-use towers with underground parking, commercial and retail space on the ground floors and the upper floors would be residential.
Construction would take place in three phases.
Lafford Properties is now constructing a 76-unit apartment building known as Birch Meadows in the Lewisville area.
The request will come before Moncton’s Planning Advisory Committee which meets on May 26.
