Just a reminder to parents and high school students.
A decision was made over the weekend by Public Health to postpone the return to full time in class learning, that was expected to resume April 12th.
This applies to high schools across the province.
They will continue with blended learning, with one day in class, and the next at home.
Public Health says this was done to allow more time to conduct contact tracing and ensure current COVID-19 outbreaks are under control.
Cabinet and the all party cabinet committee on COVID-19 will revisit this decision during the week of April 26th.
So relieved that high schools across NB will not return to pre-COVID operations on Monday.
A decision on ending blended learning will be made the week of April 24.
My thanks as always to the teachers and all staff, and the students and their families, for their patience.
