A reminder from New Brunswick’s Chief Medical Officer of Health as we celebrate the Easter weekend.
Dr. Jennifer Russell is thanking New Brunswickers, especially those living in the Red level, for their dedication and hard work as we continue to fight the spread of the virus.
She is asking everyone to show kindness and respect to others this weekend by keeping your contacts low, wearing a mask and staying at home.
For children who may be concerned about the Easter Bunny, PEI’s Chief Health Officer Dr. Heather Morrison offered some reassurance this week, “I know many children are wondering if the Easter Bunny will be able to visit this year. Like last year, the Easter Bunny is immune to COVID-19 and as such, he will be able to visit.”
Dr. Morrison says the bunny is very organized and the pandemic will not keep the Easter Bunny away.
