December 25th may have come and gone, but seniors still have an opportunity to celebrate “Christmas with the King.”
Fulltime Elvis tribute artist Thane Dunn is offering his pay-per-view event free to seniors homes, “Everything from Suspicious Minds, Heartbreak Hotel, All Shook Up, while at the same time, Elvis’ gospel music. It is available now until January 4th. So if anyone wants to watch it on New Years Eve or New Years Day.”
The fulltime Elvis tribute artist said the offer to give it free to any nursing home is his way of giving back to his many concert goers, many of whom were the first Elvis fans, and have also supported him since he began doing shows in 2009, “Many of them brought their kids to our shows and now we’re even seeing their Grandchildren at the shows,” Dunn says.
“We all have someone we know or related to in nursing homes that have had a very tough time and have not seen much of their families,” says Dunn.“So, we thought this would be a great way to make their Holidays a little brighter. These are the people who are the backbone of our country and the ones who made Elvis a global phenomenon.”
The Elvis tribute artist is one of many performers who has been hit with show cancellations due to the pandemic.
Atlantic Canada’s nursing homes are asked to go to Dunn’s website to get set up and people wanting to watch can purchase a virtual ticket.
For those outside seniors home, it is available for $25 per view for a limited time .
Dunn says those who subscribe to the show will receive access for 24 hours.
You are still able to watch our pay per view up til Jan 4th.You can enjoy it this Christmas week or watch it New Years Eve or New Years Day..
