The Maritime provinces could feel the impacts of a tropical weather system around the middle of next week.
Hurricane Isaias is moving through the Bahamas and is forecast to move near the east coast of Florida later Saturday.
The storm is packing sustained winds of 140 kilometres per hour as of early Saturday and is forecast to bring up to 200 millimetres of rain to parts of the Bahamas.
The latest track shows the storm approaching the Maritimes on Wednesday into Thursday as a tropical or post-tropical storm, though it is too early to say what the impacts could be here.
