The village of Cap-Pelé is distributing thousands of masks thanks to a generous donation.
Last week, an anonymous citizen of the Cap-Pelé region handed thousands of masks over to the municipality of Cap-Pelé so that they can be redistributed to specific locations.
Cap-Pelé mayor Serge Léger is happy to see the generosity of this citizen, and honoured to be distributing the masks for him.
They’ll be delivered to the Castel de Flots Bleus nursing home, both Moncton hospitals and to front-line workers in Cap-Pelé’s sister city, that of Broussard in Louisiana.
Mayor of the City of Broussard, Ray Bourque is delighted and is very grateful for this gift.
Broussard had reached out to Cap-Pelé following Hurricane Dorian, which hit the coast last September as well as the Cape Bald Packers factory fire last year.
