Atlantic Canada’s first International House Of Pancakes recently opened its doors in Moncton.
William Urrego, regional vice-president of Dine Brands, IHOP’s parent company, says it won’t be the only Atlantic location.
“Moncton is the first of five restaurants that we’re going to have in Atlantic Canada,” he says. “We’ve been in Canada for already 50 years but this is the first time we’re in the Atlantics.”
He says the family-friendly chain offers more than breakfast foods and can appeal to a variety of tastes.
“The way we designed the restaurant, it has a lot of flexible seating where we can accommodate large parties,” says Urrego.
Dine Brands also owns the Applebee’s chain.
