Four people face numerous charges after police in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia recovered 10 stolen recreational vehicles worth about $40,000.
The investigation began on November 24 when a side-by-side vehicle was stolen in Cumberland County.
After searching a home in Amherst, police found the side-by-side vehicle along with five ATV’s, three motocross bikes, a flatbed trailer, license plates and a welder.
As part of the investigation, Mounties also searched a home in Aulac where another stolen ATV was found as well as items used in the initial theft.
Following the searches, the four people charged were:
- Brittany Anne Davidson, 31, of Amherst, has been charged with three counts of Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000 and two counts of Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000.
- Albert Charles Jr. Oblenis, 33, of Amherst, has been charged with three counts of Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000, two counts of Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000 and Theft of Motor Vehicle.
- William Edward James Landry, 31, of Aulac, has been charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle.
- Christopher Todd Larade, 34, of Moncton, has been charged with six counts of Breach of Recognizance.
All four are scheduled to appear in court in January.
