The RCMP’s Major Crime Unit needs help to identify the driver of a car in the investigation of a double homicide in Dieppe in September.
Mounties say the car is a black, four-door BMW sedan with black rims and the driver is believed to be a man in his late 20’s or early 30’s.
Police say the car was parked on Alma Street in Moncton around noon on September 3, 2019.
The driver, who was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and light-coloured jeans, crossed the road to use a payphone before returning to the car and driving away toward Main Street.
Police believe the driver may have information related to the homicides of 78-year-old Bernard Saulnier and 74-year-old Rose-Marie Saulnier.
The bodies were found in their Amirault Street home on September 7, 2019 and police do not believe the deaths were random.
Anyone with information is urged to contact RCMP’s Major Crime Unit at 506-857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or www.crimenb.ca
