Beausejour MP Dominic LeBlanc has been released from hospital in Montreal.
LeBlanc had a stem cell transplant in September after being diagnosed with cancer in the spring – a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
LeBlanc underwent extensive chemotherapy at the Dumont Hospital in Moncton before being transferred to Montreal’s Maisonneuve Rosemont Hospital to complete his treatment.
On social media, Dr. Silvy Lachance said LeBlanc was an ideal candidate for a transplant which went well with no complications.

LeBlanc thanked his medical team for their care.
He says he feels stronger every day and plans to return home to New Brunswick soon.
The MP and cabinet minister was unable to campaign during the recent federal election but was re-elected in Beausejour with almost 47 percent of the vote.
