The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax was involved in a rescue operation at Fundy National Park earlier today.
Major Mark Gough says a JRCC helicopter was dispatched around 6am to a remote location in the park.
A volunteer firefighter on an ATV was injured after it flipped over during a search and rescue and he needed medical attention.
Major Gough says the man was lifted up into the helicopter and flown to hospital in Moncton.
Earlier on Friday, Parks Canada said a woman had reported being disoriented along Goose River Trail and called for help.
Volunteer firefighters from Alma and park staff were able to find the woman safe and sound.
