The New Brunswick Court of Appeal has ruled against nursing home workers which means they can’t strike in the near future.
The three-judge panel has granted the government’s stay but a reason won’t be given until a later date.
A judicial review into the matter will be heard on May 24.
Union president Sharon Teare says the province can’t deny workers their fundamental rights to fair collective bargaining including the right to strike or binding arbitration.
Wages have been a major point of contention in this ongoing dispute.
